Last year, the company successfully delivered the UK’s first pay-by-plate tolling system on the Mersey Tunnel. Not only does this solution greatly improve the customer journey experience by automating the toll plaza crossing, but it also lowers the road operator’s operating costs by eliminating the need to invest in tag-based roadside equipment.
Earlier this year, Emovis signed its 4th road user charging (RUC) contract in the US with Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to implement the Mileage-Based User Fee programme.
