The Ortana Cosmos provides a coordinated smart software platform for all ITS units and stakeholders to prevent congestion on a GIS-based platform. The system combines knowledge databases from traffic situations and submits it to operators in a single platform. Ortana says it leads to environmentally healthy and lower carbon emissions on highways.
Meanwhile, the company has unveiled the Rador212 traffic sensor with dual radar and Bluetooth. This advanced sensor provides traffic information for up to 16 multi-direction lanes. Vehicle count, occupancy, classification, length and type, speed per vehicle, distance and time between vehicles, and direction of vehicle per lane are detected with dual FMCW radars. Additional dual Bluetooth and GPS provides travel time information.
