BlackBerry says it will use its QNX and Cylance solutions to improve vehicle safety in areas such as predictive software maintenance and cybersecurity threat protection.
The company will also provide a cybersecurity consulting service to identify vulnerabilities across the full software library.
Ralf D Speth, CEO of Jaguar, says: “Jaguar Land Rover and BlackBerry share a common objective in bringing the most intelligent vehicles to reality.”
Speth will deliver a keynote address at BlackBerry’s annual security conference in London on 2 October.
