The International Mobility Summit will run on 12-13 October at the Bella Center Copenhagen.

For the seventh year running, the gathering brings together members of the global mobility, transport and smart city ecosystem, including thought leaders, disruptors, innovators, investors and policymakers.

The Summit is based around shaping and planning mobility for cities of the future, looking at "the next phase of mobility challenges and opportunities while showcasing cutting-edge technology and bridging the gap between EU policymakers and industry", the organisers say in a statement.

Speakers include Kris Peeters, vice president of the European Investment Bank; Jeppe Gaard, chief revenue officer at Movia Public Transport; Line Barfoed, mayor of technology & environment at City of Copenhagen; Armin Gräter, director of digitalisation and automated driving for BMW Group; Henk Swarttouw, president, European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF); and Inga Grieger, business development manager, BMW i Ventures, to lead talks on topics such as rail, cycling, infrastructure and carbon-neutrality.

The event will include a mix of keynote speakers, panel discussions, fireside chats and close-door discussions in Copenhagen.

There will also be a number of side events, including educational tours in the city such as a site visit to Doll Living Lab, curated sessions with partners like IAA Mobility, CCAM association, ECF and Nordic +.
