WBCSD says the study will further investigate the latest research and best practice on Mobility as a Service, as well as formulate policy recommendations for its implementation towards more sustainable mobility in cities.
The research project is expected to facilitate a dialogue across different sectors on connected, automated, shared and electric mobility.
It will also help direct companies toward sustainability in the development of their mobility systems, the council adds.
WBSCD members include Daimler, Honda, Pirello and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.
