Wejo is to discuss how connected vehicle (CV) data enables workzone safety during next week's National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) 2021.
NWZAW is an annual spring campaign dedicated to encouraging safe driving through highway work zones.
Wejo's solutions engineer Matthew Blackwell and assistant vice president of enterprise partnerships Matthew McCann will speak on a virtual panel with Google cloud platform account manager Chris Daugherty and Indiana DoT director of economic development Pam Fisher on 28 April.
The session – Connecting the DoTs: How Connected Vehicle Data Enables Work Zone Safety – also includes Darcy Bullock, joint transportation research programme director at Purdue University.

The conversations will explore the benefits of using connected vehicle data for workzone safety planning, examples of how Purdue University uses Wejo data to provide the Indiana DoT with insight on workzone safety issues and how Google Cloud's platform provides cost-effective data storage.
