Lyt's cloud-based smart traffic solutions are being used by Parametrix to deliver smart technology solutions for more liveable communities.
The company says its traffic management platform Lyt.speed works with existing infrastructure and algorithms to efficiently manage traffic flow in the cloud.
The platform comprises Lyt.emergency, which offers emergency vehicle preemption, and a transit signal priority solution called Lyt.transit.
Lyt.emergency and Lyt.transit are expected to produce a consistent and reliable green light for every transit or emergency vehicle.
According to Lyt, these solutions harness the power of a single edge device installed in traffic management centres that enable transit vehicles to speak directly to networked traffic signals in cities through the Lyt cloud platform.
