Pack Health, a health coaching platform, says the partnership will allow its staff to request and coordinate rides for members via a centralised dashboard.
Riders do not need the Uber app or a smartphone as ride information is sent via text to their mobile phone. Patients can then trigger the ride when they are ready with an SMS response.
As part of the agreement, Pack Health will assess the impact of the offering by tracking usage and asking follow-up questions to members who use the service.
