Supplier of in radar speed displays and variable message signs, 6966 All Traffic Solutions, has selected ThingWorx to support advanced application development for its SmartApps web-based traffic control suite. All Traffic’s cloud-based SmartApps suite allows law enforcement organisations, as well as state and local agencies, to remotely monitor, manage, and interact with traffic safety signs using a web-based application and virtual map.
To support increased customer demand for new features and an overall increase in application sophistication, All Traffic chose the ThingWorx platform to deliver the next generation of application functionality for SmartApps. The ThingWorx platform will enable All Traffic to support the ongoing sophistication required within its SmartApps solution by rapidly developing mobile interfaces using the ThingWorx Mashup Builder. The platform will also provide more comprehensive business system integration, and offer advanced data mining for customers requesting predictive analytics for traffic control.
The next generation of development for SmartApps will take advantage of the ThingWorx rapid application development environment, business application integration, and usability tools to deliver improved value for All Traffic’s customers. The solution will continue to provide efficiencies for local law enforcement organisations while offering useful predictive data for better planning and traffic safety programs.
“ThingWorx’s rapid application development environment and scalable platform allow us to extend our solution and deliver new services to our customers in ways that were previously impossible,” stated Scott Johnson, CEO and co-founder of All Traffic. “With ThingWorx, we have the flexible platform we need to rapidly take our new and innovative products to market.”
“We are pleased to be selected by All Traffic to power the next generation of its SmartApps solution suite for cloud-based monitoring of traffic control and safety,” said Russ Fadel, CEO of ThingWorx. “The innovative development tools and integration capabilities provided by ThingWorx, combined with the platform’s deployment flexibility will help All Traffic accelerate its time to market, and enable it to build customised applications and services five to ten times faster than with previous technologies.”
